On May 30, the European Commission and Europa Nostra revealed the 2024 winners of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards. These prestigious awards, co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, honor outstanding achievements in the field of heritage across Europe. This year, 26 remarkable winners from 18 countries were recognized for their exceptional contributions to preserving and promoting European cultural heritage.

The winners will be celebrated at the European Heritage Awards Ceremony on October 7 at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, Romania. This iconic concert hall, recently honored with a European Heritage Label for its cultural significance, is the perfect venue for this prestigious event.

The awards ceremony will be a highlight of the European Cultural Heritage Summit, taking place from October 6-8 in Bucharest. The summit will bring together heritage professionals, enthusiasts, and supporters from across Europe to celebrate and discuss the future of our shared cultural heritage.
