MCA Forum | Ready, Steady, Transform! Digital, cultural and creative collaboration for a sustainable and inclusive future
About the event
This forum is a call to action — bringing together cultural professionals, artists, citizens, researchers, technologists, policymakers, students, and accessibility advocates to reflect on a central question: How can digital cultural heritage become a catalyst for more sustainable and inclusive societies? And just as importantly: how can we build meaningful collaboration across different sectors and disciplines?
Across two days, we’ll move beyond the tools and technologies of today to imagine the possibilities of tomorrow. The conversations will focus on embedding sustainability into digital cultural practice, while embracing the transformative role of digital culture in reshaping participation, access, and collective imagination.
But this is not just another conference — it’s an invitation to engage: to listen, to speak, and to co-create across disciplines. Whether you come from the worlds of cultural heritage, technology, accessibility, policy, or the arts, you’ll find a space here to contribute, challenge, and collaborate.
The programme features interactive sessions, practical case studies, a fair, and open roundtables designed to spark dialogue, experimentation, and fresh ways of thinking. Expect a format that values presence over performance, ideas over hierarchy, and progress over perfection.
True to the spirit of our community, the forum will be frugal, dynamic, and participatory — a living space where ideas don’t just circulate, but grow and take root.
This gathering is made possible with the support of the French Ministry of Culture, Médiathèque de la Philharmonie de Paris, Dédale, and the Rosa Parks Social Center.
