NEMO's European Museum Conference, titled Can we talk? Museums facing polarisation, is set to take place from 10-12 November 2024 in the picturesque city of Sibiu, Romania.

NEMO’s European Museum Conference, titled Can we talk? Museums facing polarisation, is set to take place from 10-12 November 2024 in the picturesque city of Sibiu, Romania. This pivotal event aims to address the essential role that museums can play in today’s increasingly polarized democratic societies.

NEMO (Network of European Museum Organisations) is currently inviting professionals from the museum sector to contribute to the conference programme by submitting proposals. The deadline for submission is 19 June 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for museum professionals to share their insights, experiences, and innovative ideas on how museums can navigate and mitigate societal polarization.
