Symposium | The Other Map of Amsterdam
On Monday, 27 October 2025 – the 750th anniversary of the city – The Other Map of Amsterdam will officially go live!
Filled with many stories, beautiful objects, and passionate people, this digital map will make the rich culture of Amsterdam’s religious heritage accessible to everyone.
Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, together with Westerkerk Amsterdam, warmly invite you to celebrate this special moment with us.
14:00 – 15:00 | Walk from The Other Map of Amsterdam
Starting from Museum Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder, groups will set off with a guide into the city to experience the possibilities of the map.

15:30 – 17:00 | Festive symposium at the Westerkerk
