Join the Youth Advisory Board of the European Heritage Label Bureau!

What is the Youth Advisory Board?
This newly established group will bring together up to 10 young individuals from across Europe to support and advise the EHL Bureau and its network of cultural heritage sites. As a Youth Advisory Board Member, you will:
- Advise on strategies to improve youth engagement at European Heritage Label sites.
- Co-organize and lead a youth-focused event at one of the EHL sites.
- Participate in monthly online meetings, training sessions, and exchange activities with other members.
- Collaborate closely with the EHL Bureau team, contributing not only to youth engagement but also to broader themes such as visibility, sustainability, technology and new media, and audience development.
- Contribute to EHL’s communication efforts by creating content — such as social media posts, videos, and podcasts — that share personal experiences with our shared cultural heritage and explore new ways of telling the stories of EHL sites from a youth perspective.
- Travel across Europe to attend events and visit unique cultural sites that have played a pivotal role in shaping the history of European integration.

Who Can Apply?
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Aged between 21 and 29 years old at the time of application and living in any EU country.
- Demonstrate interest and/or experience in cultural heritage, European studies, youth engagement, communication, and social media.
- Comfortable working in English (the working language of the Board).
- Willing to actively commit to the Board’s activities for a full term (10 months, 8 to 10 hours per month, excluding on-site activities and events, renewable).
- Excited about traveling, collaborating internationally, and bringing fresh perspectives to heritage work.
Priority will be given to applicants who are active members of youth organizations in Europe, including student unions, cultural associations, volunteering networks, and similar groups.
We strongly encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and will ensure gender balance among selected members.
