Yuste Foundation Opens Call for 120 Grants for the Campus Yueste Training Programme
The European and Ibero-American Academy of Yuste Foundation has announced the opening of applications for 120 grants for the Campus Yuste training programme. These grants aim to cover the registration fee, accommodation expenses, and maintenance for participants in the 25th edition of the University of Extremadura’s international summer-autumn courses.
The courses, scheduled to take place at the historic Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste in July, boast a diverse range of topics including:
- “Portugal, 1974: Society, Culture, and Literature in the Carnation Revolution” (From 2 to 4 July).
- “Conflicts in the Worlds of Charles V: The Enemies of the Empire” (From 9 to 11 July).
- “Reinventing Europe in the Face of Current and Future Challenges” (From 16 to 18 July).
- “European Union – Latin America and the Caribbean Relations: New Times and Renewed Commitments” (From 23 to 25 July).
To secure these grants, applicants will undergo a competitive selection process. Evaluation criteria will primarily focus on the applicant’s academic performance, considering the highest score in the average grade of their bachelor’s, diploma, or degree. Additionally, the accreditation of master’s or doctoral degrees will also be taken into consideration.
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their documentation by May 20 through the official application portal. Alternatively, physical submissions can be made at the Yuste Foundation’s headquarters, situated in the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, or through postal services.
