2025 EHL Community Call for Projects

What you need to know
Building on the momentum of our first call for projects, this initiative continues to provide direct financial support to the Sites labeled European Heritage by the European Commission. This effort underscores our commitment to preserving and celebrating our shared cultural heritage.
Projects should address at least one specific objective and one cross-cutting issue.
Please note that activities that have already received funding may not be eligible for this call.
If your project activities were included in your EHL Site’s original action plan or have been previously funded by a EHL Bureau call for projects, or Council of Europe call (including under the European Heritage Days call for EHL Sites), they are not illegible. Neither can the EHL Bureau consider projects funded by another EU program (e.g. CERV, Creative Europe).
Key Objectives
- Enhancing Visibility – Does your project increase the visibility of the EHL and of the Sites and their significance in European culture and identity?
- Fostering Networking – Does your project promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among EHL Sites?
- Building Capacity – Does your project enhance the skills and expertise of site managers and key stakeholders?
Cross-Cutting Issues
- Youth – Does your project contribute to increase youth interest in heritage activities and European integration history?
- Digital – Are you leveraging digital technologies to enhance outreach and participation?
- Climate Change and Sustainability – Does your project address ways to adapt to climate transition?
- Citizenship – Does your project promote debate of the European values and our common shared heritage and European integration within a wider audience?
